Vintage AmCab Veil Wraps

In a classic American Cabaret style bellydance set, the dancer enters the stage draped in a veil, which they slowly dance off through the course of an entire song. In this series we learn a different veil wrap every week. We explore different methods of dancing each wrap off, then set our routine to music.

Dancing With Zills: Level 1

While there are many classes on how to play zills, few actually teach you how to MOVE at the same time! In this class, you will be up and dancing with zills from day one. Ellen's detailed teaching style makes zill playing accessible for dancers of all experience levels. This course covers the absolute basics, including singles, runs, triples, counted patterns, and the beledi rhythm.

Dancing With Zills: Level 2

This course picks up where Level 1 left off. We learn the chiftetelli and Turkish 9/8 rhythms, and practice matching zill patterns and rhythms in more complex multi-rhythmic songs.
